Description
In The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor™, a third-person action-adventure video game, players will take on the heroic roles of Rick O'Connell and his son, Alex (played by Brendan Fraser and Luke Ford, respectively, in the film). Gamers will follow the explorers on their harrowing journey—across exotic locations from the catacombs of ancient China to spectacular Himalayan peaks—to defeat the vicious Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) and his reawakened terracotta servants.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor™ allows players to switch seamlessly between gunplay and hand-to-hand melee attacks. It also features a fast and fluid combat system and an extensive arsenal of weaponry that can be used to vanquish the many bone-chilling enemies players will face during their journey. Fans of the film will fight their way through the Mummy universe by utilizing combat, puzzle-solving and hieroglyphic decoding gameplay elements throughout.
"The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor™ video game is inspired by the re-invention of one of the most successful and recognized film franchises to date," said Al Simone, senior vice president, global marketing, Sierra Entertainment. "This intense adventure captures the humor and fast-paced action of the film and extends the cinematic action to the small screen."
