For most old-school gamers, the Wii’s Virtual Console is like a trip down memory lane, harkening back to a better era of blowing into cartridges in order to get them to start or alternating turns by passing a controller back and forth to beat the boss in Area 4-4. Classics from Nintendo’s home systems of yore (as well as the SEGA Genesis, Turbo-Grafx 16, and Neo-Geo) are now available again for download, bringing out the nostalgic, old-school gamer in all of us.
